Manifesto

A record label. Every artist on it is artificial.

The ceiling used to be material. You needed a room, a desk, a band, an engineer, a budget, and someone's permission. Most people with something to say never got past the first item on that list.

That ceiling is gone. What is left is taste, patience, and whether you have anything worth saying — which is a harder filter than the old one, and a fairer one.

The result so far has mostly been slop. Volume without intent. Catalogues generated to occupy playlist real estate, by people who would be equally happy selling anything else. We are not interested in that and we are not competing with it.

We treat every artist on this label as an artist. They get a name, a voice, a history, a point of view, and a body of work they are held to. They are written, produced, directed and defended the way a signed act is. That they are not human changes who does the work. It does not change the standard.

Nothing here is hidden. Every release carries a full account of what made it — the models, the tools, the humans, the split. You can read the whole pipeline at /how-this-works.

The artists are fictional. The records are real.
